Hello, my friend,
It is a beautiful day here in Scotland, I have spent the early part of the morning in reflection, practising gentle non-linear movement.
By allowing my body to move, without direction, as she wills, with no need to control, determine or practice in specific linear ways, but rather by connecting to the breath and the emotions and energies that are present and allowing them to breathe and move through me unhindered ... feels truly delicious and nourishing in my cells.
I then had breakfast, caught up with a friend and am now coming to the end of some of my work to-do list. I'm looking forward to a walk in the sunshine, to feel the breeze upon my skin and listen to the sounds and calls of mother nature as I breathe her in.
How are you? How are you getting on? Are you finding time to care for yourself in amongst your other responsibilities and needs? Are you managing to make sense of all the upheaval in the world just now?
“...the mind which serves the spirit is at peace and filled with joy. Its power comes from spirit, and it is fulfilling happily its function here."
- A Course In Miracles
I love this quote, it reminds me to release the little stuff, to come back to Unity, to remember that all is well in the grand scheme of things. To do what can be done with conscious, loving awareness and integrity, to allow Spirit to speak and move through me so that I am no longer the 'doer', but the one that life and activity is expressed through.
I remember my function to be aligned with Love and be of service.
The next lesson, lesson 96, from A Course in Miracles, is this 'Salvation comes from my one Self'.
For me, this showing us that we often see ourselves as separate from Spirit, from the One Mind, from Consciousness itself.
When we remember that we are a body, mind, and spirit, simultaneously all at once then we come back into right relationship with all that is and our purpose here on the planet.
We remember that all problems are an invitation to WAKE UP, to heal and find creative solutions.
We remember that we are divinely guided, and we may work towards being open to hearing the call.
We remember that what is true of the Divine is also true of us.
We can bring ourselves into alignment, by clearing the veils of illusion, recognise our body as a vehicle for our souls' sacred expression, and welcome our humanness in all its magical, messy glory.
This is the feminine path, where all is sacred and all is welcome.
In this manner, we know ourselves as holy beings of light and dark, without the need to transcend our bodies.
We, instead, make friends with our human form and do all that we can to nurture our divine temple in healthful ways.
We uncover our limiting beliefs and choose again.
We make friends with the seeming opposites that play our in our lives, open/closed, light/dark, conscious/unconscious, loving/fearful, and so on.
We see these opposites as the two faces of one totality and enjoy the dance amongst and between them, all the while waking up to our truth and clearing the ways within and beyond us, knowing that all is One.
We may also, make use of Divine Mind, the Mind of Spirit, as we recognise that our mind, the mind of others' and the One Mind are one.
As we know it to be true, by directing our thinking, commands and intentions upon Divine Mind it is done.
"Your mind will bless all things.
Confusion done, you are restored, for you have found your Self"
