How are things with you today?
It beautiful sunshiny day here, I am enjoying some leftover birthday cake, a coffee and feeling into some conversations I have had today.
Mostly the explorations have been around conscious communication and conscious relationships.
Essentially, about the yoga of relationships.
Wouldn't it be so amazing if we had guidelines and practices to understand ourselves and our interrelations with others more clearly? To be able to relate from that place, to know what natural gifts we may share with our partners as offerings of truth and connection.
If we connect more with the feminine within then to know how to enhance the qualities of our Feminine Essence to gift these to our significant other, who naturally will identify more with the masculine and vice versa?
It takes practice to learn these skills for ourselves, to live our truth and trust in the process to balance and polarise our relationships for greater connection and intimacy.
Oftentimes in our relationships, we blend so much with our beloved, that we neutralise that which magnetised us to them in the first place.
And in doing so we may find ourselves becoming companionable friends, rather than the great lovers we once were, from here this can lead to rather bland or contractual interactions, which may get the house and children tended but don't necessarily tend the inner gardens of our souls longing for union, recognition, inspiration and growth.
I believe that our personal relationships with our significant other are the most beautiful and fertile grounds for our greatest Spiritual Awakening.
For me, I intend that my intimate relationships serve three purposes, that of my own growth, the growth of my partner and the growth of our union, our relationship.
I believe rather strongly that if we allow the vehicle of our relationships to serve us in these ways, then we literally can create Heaven on Earth, and our children born of this union, and all those around us may, in turn, benefit from this forward motion and integration, the embodiment of our spiritual awakening.
I believe that if we, as couples, honour the sacredness of our coming together, choose to work on ourselves, our intimacy, connection and individual growth, the relationship will thrive, our children will be nourished by our continued and deepening connection, we will as individuals, a couple and a family grow beyond our edges of closure, fear and with-holding to create heaven on earth, right here in our own homes.
In this way, we begin to see the sacredness in all and within every circumstance as we evolve together.
This connection then, in turn, radiates out to nourish our friends, family members and our communities at large. Globally, as we each take responsibility for how we show up, our consciousness expands exponentially.
Does this resonate with you?
I am feeling called to create a Yoga of Relationships Course, to serve us in creating the kind of intimacy that would nourish us most in our intimate relationships with our beloved.
Is this something that interests you?
The lesson, lesson 83, from the Course, is this a refresher on some of the previous points of exploration, the first being 'My only function is the one God gave me', and 'My happiness and my function are one.'
“Fulfilling my function is my happiness because both come from the same Source"
- A Course In Miracles
Perhaps as we grow and evolve in our spiritual awareness, express our souls' truth, and be all that we are meant to in this lifetime, we may just birth a new paradigm of love here and now on earth.
In this way, connected to Source, we become the greatest version of ourselves, with our Highest Self at the helm, in service to all of mankind.
Our function then, and our happiness becomes one as we know that we are eternally connected to the All That Is.
With my love for you,
