Yesterday I lost myself in mother nature, walking and exploring for hours in hidden glens and craggy shorelines, laying for some time in a resplendent, purple hued field full of bluebells, framed magically by the potent smell of golden yellow gorse and the sound from below of the sea washing ashore.
After a while, I clambered down to an ancient well, at the foot of a gorge, where two wild sheep awaited the strange arrival of someone approaching. The sheep looked like they had been on the run from civilised life for some time, their wool hanging to the floor in long tangled, burdensome clumps.
I love these kinds of days, wandering, immersing one's self with nature and time slipping into a nothingness dream of endless vistas, visions and deep soul contact.
There is something quite special about happening upon a new environment to explore, but to me, the real exploration is in who am I in this environment, what do I now know about myself for this adventure, this soul exploration amongst something new and as yet unchartered.
What jewels of inner knowing may be revealed and expressed for this quality soul time of self-discovery?
Do you ever do this? Adventure out into the unknown to know yourself anew?
Today I'm feeling like it's one of those days that require extra tenderness and cosy time snuggled up in front of a roaring fire, with a good book, a drink of Golden Milk, a long sensual massage and a snuggle with loved ones, I'm half way through my moon cycle and feeling a little tired and introverted like a warm snug cave would be a welcome place to be, especially if it has a view of the ocean tides rushing in on the swell of cyclical change.
A day to feel into one's blessings and uncountable gratitudes. A day for surrender and reverie, for ritual and reverence for life, love and beauty, to pray and know Oneness.
It is also a day that I have work to do, a new practice video to be shared with my Yoga Nidra students, it's uploading to YouTube just now.
How are you spending your day?
As we continue our journey with A Course in Miracles we arrive at today's lesson, lesson 75, which states this: The light has come.
Ah, drink that in!
The light has come.
“Be confident that on this day there is a new beginning."
- A Course In Miracles
It continues, 'The light has come. I have forgiven the world.'
Today's lesson is leading us to look forward, to not dwell int he past but to be open to what is now emerging with new sight, forgiveness and the veils of illusion lifted. The day is brand new, with fresh eyes we ay see something new and even believe something new about ourselves, others and life. We may entertain new possibilities and feel into our potential free of the past.
Today is a day to dream a new dream, to explore new visions and turn towards them with love in our hearts.
May you, may we, know the light of love, and appreciate all that you are in becoming.
May we be grateful for all that came before and created the foundation to birth this new beginning here and now with the next breath in.
And know, I am right here with you.
It is never too late. You've got this, beauty.
With my love,
